MY!! plant is gone, the caterpillers have eaten all the leaves of my plant, now they are going to turn into butterflies One caterpiller has turned into a cacoon already.
Oscar, It is so nice to see that you are raising Monarch caterpillars! I raise them every year - somewhere between 300-500 - in my home and classroom. We then tag them and track their migration through www.monarchwatch.org. It is so exciting to watch and capture the process on film! To see the stages the caterpillar goes through and then to see it create its chrysallis is amazing! Being able to actually catch it emerging from its chrysallis is an awesome experience as well! Good luck!
